Ep. 4: Lost and Not Found, Episode 3

In which the main character’s novel begins, following the story of a man discovering that he has super powers by accident, and during the writing of which only one other person shows up for the meeting, and then only to bring further disappointment.

Starting today I’m going to (try) posting episodes of Lost and Not Found on Fridays. This is directly related to Lost and Not Found going live at Podiobooks.com today, with three episodes available at once. I’ll be trying to get both feeds updating at close to the same day in the future, so neither feed will really be ahead or behind the other, but this one will also have poetry and, in the future, short stories in the mix as well.

Ep. 2: Lost and Not Found, Episode 2

This episode of the Modern Evil Podcast contains the second episode of Lost and Not Found, in which the main character attempts to talk the rest of his friends into writing novels with him, and then the next day has an inexplicably illogical and irrevocable meeting at work that will change the constraints of his own writing challenge.

And really, I do expect to post a mid-week episode with poetry this week. Maybe two, to make up for last week. Comments and emails are welcome.

Art show & Book signing at Intatto Coffee, September 27th, 2008

I’m still waiting to get final details on this from Leslie, who runs Intatto Coffee, but during the day on Saturday, September 27th, 2008 I’ll be at Intatto Coffee (Greenway & Tatum, in North Phoenix / Scottsdale), showing some of my art and all of my books.  I’ll gladly discuss, read from, and sign copies of any of my books.  This will be a great opportunity for any Phoenix residents to see my books and art in person, and by buying the books in person you can also save on shipping charges.

Ep. 1: Lost and Not Found, Episode 1

In this, the inaugural episode of the Modern Evil Podcast, you can hear the first episode of the serlialized audio version of Lost and Not Found: In which the main character first resolves to write a novel, and then begins to try to talk his friends into writing novels alongside him. Also in this episode, Paul explains his doomsday prediction theories and goes into detail about his evidence that a catastrophic worldwide event is soon to occur.

I plan on posting subsequent episodes of Lost and Not Found weekly and plan on inserting additional, shorter episodes, mid-week containing random poetry, short fiction, maybe previews of works in progress… The idea is to include a variety of examples of all that Modern Evil Press has to offer. This is my first attempt at posting a podcast, so please leave a comment if you experience any problems or have any questions or suggestions.
